Terms of Use
1. Operator and Contact Details
These Terms govern the use of the Rewrite Mentor™ service and the contractual relationship between the Operator and the User. A Consumer is a natural person who enters into a contract with the Operator outside the scope of their business activity or independent professional practice.
2. Nature and Scope of the Service
Rewrite Mentor™ is a digital service that uses artificial intelligence. Through conversation, it offers questions, prompts for reflection, journaling, and other tools for self-reflection and personal development.
- The current version of the Service is provided through the Telegram application.
- An email registration process is used to activate the free plan.
- Subscription payments are processed by the Stripe payment service.
- The Service is intended only for persons aged 18 or over.
- The specific features and limits are stated on the website or in the order.
Telegram, Stripe, and other connected platforms are independent third-party services and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
3. Contract Formation and Activation
- The User selects a free or paid plan and provides the required information.
- For a paid plan, the User is shown the price, billing period, and essential features of the Service before submitting payment.
- The contract for a paid plan is concluded when the order is completed and payment has been successfully processed.
- Confirmation and activation information are sent electronically. Access is then activated automatically.
The User must provide truthful and up-to-date information and protect access to their email, Telegram account, and payment methods.
4. Plans, Pricing, and Payments
START
The free plan provides a one-time message allowance stated on the website. No payment card is required for activation. The Operator may change the scope of the free plan for new Users in the future or discontinue the offer.
FLOW
FLOW is a monthly subscription with the message allowance stated on the website and in the order. The current final price and any applicable taxes are shown to the User before payment is confirmed.
Payment recurs automatically at the same interval until the User cancels the subscription. The User authorises recurring charges through the selected payment method. If payment cannot be processed, paid access may be temporarily restricted or terminated.
5. Subscription Cancellation
The User may cancel the subscription at any time for the next billing period through the customer portal, if available, or by sending a request to david@rewritementor.cz.
Cancellation must be completed before the next scheduled payment. After cancellation, the paid plan remains active until the end of the period already paid for. Failure to use the Service does not in itself create a right to a refund of fees already paid; this does not affect the Consumer’s statutory rights, rights arising from defective performance, or the right to withdraw from the contract where the statutory conditions are met.
6. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
When entering into a distance contract, a Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of its conclusion, unless an exception under applicable law applies.
If the statutory conditions for restricting or losing the right of withdrawal have not been met, the Consumer’s rights remain unaffected. Notice of withdrawal may be sent by email to david@rewritementor.cz or in writing to the Operator’s registered office. It is sufficient for the notice to be demonstrably sent on the final day of the withdrawal period.

7. Acceptable Use
The User undertakes to use the Service only in a lawful and safe manner. In particular, the User must not:
- use the Service for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, or harm to other persons;
- circumvent plan limits, security measures, authentication, or access restrictions;
- place an automated load on the Service, copy or reverse engineer it, or interfere with its operation;
- share access credentials or paid access with other persons;
- enter personal data relating to third parties without an appropriate legal basis or authorisation;
- use outputs as a substitute for professional judgement in matters of health, law, finance, or safety.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Service Limitations
Rewrite Mentor™ is not a psychotherapist, psychologist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or crisis helpline. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or professional assessment. The User remains responsible for their decisions and should seek a qualified professional where necessary.
If there is an immediate threat to life or health, call 112 or contact the appropriate professional emergency or crisis service. Do not rely on the AI Service in an emergency.
9. Availability, Changes, and Maintenance
The Operator aims to maintain ongoing availability of the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation without outages. Availability may be affected by maintenance, security measures, internet connectivity, or third-party services, including Telegram, Stripe, and AI infrastructure providers.
The Operator may reasonably update the Service, in particular for security, legal compliance, feature improvements, or changes to technical suppliers. The User’s statutory rights regarding defective digital performance remain unaffected.
10. Defects and Complaints
If the Service does not conform to the agreed features or is not functioning, the User may submit a complaint to david@rewritementor.cz. The User should provide the email used for the order, a description of the problem, the date it arose, and the requested remedy. Where appropriate, the User should attach a screenshot without unnecessary sensitive data.
A Consumer complaint will be handled without undue delay and no later than 30 days after it is submitted, unless the Operator and the Consumer agree on a longer period. The User’s rights arising from defective performance are governed by applicable law.
11. Liability
The Operator is liable for breaches of its obligations to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Consumer rights that cannot be contractually excluded, or liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
The Operator is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of AI output, outages caused by the User or by a third party outside the Operator’s reasonable control, or loss of access caused by the User’s breach of these Terms.
12. Intellectual Property
The Rewrite Mentor™ brand, texts, methods, graphics, software, prompts, databases, and other elements of the Service are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. The User receives only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for their own personal purposes for the duration of their access.
The User may use their individual outputs for personal purposes. However, the User must not copy or commercially distribute a substantial part of the system, methods, or Service content, or create a competing product through the systematic extraction of outputs.
13. Privacy and Personal Data
Personal data is processed when registering, making payments, and using the Service. Details of the controller, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods, and User rights are set out in a separate Privacy Policy.
A Telegram bot is not a Telegram Secret Chat with end-to-end encryption. The User must not enter information that is unnecessary for the intended self-reflection, in particular passwords, payment details, official identifiers, or sensitive data relating to third parties.
14. Restriction or Termination of Access
The Operator may reasonably restrict or terminate access if the User seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, misuses the Service, threatens security, or fails to pay an amount when due. Where circumstances permit, the User will be notified in advance and given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach.
If the Operator terminates a paid Service without a breach by the User, the Operator will refund the proportionate part of the price for the unused period where required by the nature of the termination and applicable law.
15. Changes to the Terms
The Operator may amend these Terms for the future, in particular in response to changes to the Service, prices, technology, or legal requirements. The current version will be published on the website together with its effective date.
The User will be informed in advance of material changes affecting an existing paid subscription. If the User does not agree with a change, they may cancel the subscription before the change takes effect. Changes do not limit statutory rights that have already arisen.
16. Governing Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution
The contractual relationship is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. This does not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence, where applicable.
If a dispute arises between the Operator and a Consumer, the parties will first attempt to resolve it directly. If the Consumer dispute cannot be resolved by agreement, the Consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to:
